Re-Lining of a Polyethylene Process Vessel for OXEA
SÄKAPHEN HR 60 Extra G
This summer SÄKAPHEN collaborated with a third party applicator to refurbish a worn polyethylene process vessel in Germany close to our own facility. The scope included the complete refurbishment of the lined tank internals including a rotation skimming device and the detachable roof within 6 days. The tank had approximate dimensions of 7m x 8m and is used as a process tank in Polyethele (PE) production.
The client selected SÄKAPHEN HR 60 Extra G Green as the specified lining after seeing exceptional performance since original lining in 1969, 40 plus years service!
The freshly applied SÄKAPHEN HR 60 Extra G Green will protect against a corrosive mix of water, hydrocarbons and Polyethele (PE) powder. The upper section of the tank is exposed to enhanced wear due to a rotating device to skim off the injected powder.
