Combined application for tube side lining and shell side coating of heat exchangers in crude oil service

Authorized applicator Donelli Alexo of Italy has recently completed two large heat exchangers for its client Hemaco Srl with SÄKAPHEN Si 14 E applied on the shell side for crude oil service and SÄKAPHEN Si 14 EG on the tube side for cooling water service.
Shell side application was carried out by single tube application ensuring a 100% holiday and defect free finish. During installation, outer tube surfaces are protected by the use of PTFE sleeves located at baffle entry points. This exceptional level of work is a perfect demonstration of extending service durability whilst simultaneously reducing CAPEX.
