Ceramoclad 221
High Performance Ceramic and Modified Silicate Reinforced Composite Filler for Surface Repair. Ultra-Low VOC, Ultra-High Solids, Metal-Free Formulation Compatible with Virtually All Coating and Lining Systems, Including Baked Phenolics
SÄKAPHEN Ceramoclad 221 is a high-performance ceramic and modified silicate reinforced composite filler developed for the repair of voids, cracks, pitting and surface defects in metallic and thermoset substrates. The metal-free formulation delivers high mechanical strength, excellent temperature resistance up to 220°C and outstanding compatibility with industrial coating and lining systems, including baked phenolic coatings.
The innovative metal-free filler technology eliminates the risk of cross-contamination with metallic substrates and allows application on a wide range of materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminium and other alloys. Ceramoclad 221 is formulated for high mechanical strength and remains fully machinable following cure.
The composite filler exhibits excellent temperature resistance up to 220°C (430°F) in dry service and withstands demanding operating conditions. Once cured, Ceramoclad 221 can be overcoated with commonly used coating and lining systems, including most baked phenolic and epoxy-phenolic linings.
Supplied in an innovative dual-cartridge system, Ceramoclad 221 ensures accurate mixing ratio control while eliminating the requirement for expensive specialist dispensing equipment. The cartridges are compatible with standard 310 ml and 1/10 gallon rod-operated and battery-operated caulking guns, providing simple, efficient and reliable application.
Ceramoclad 221 is the ideal solution for the repair and restoration of damaged surfaces where high performance, ease of application and long-term durability are required.
SÄKAPHEN Ceramoclad 221 is a low-solvent, ultra-high solid volume (wt. %) of 95% or more.
Designed for the repair and restoration of voids, cracks, pitting, surface defects and mechanical damage in metallic and thermoset substrates. Delivers a durable, fully machinable repair with excellent adhesion and long-term service performance. Can be overcoated with a wide range of coating and lining systems, including most baked-on phenolic coatings, in accordance with project specifications.
