Internal Lining of 1½" (38mm) Tubes, too small to spray, but too big to flood

SÄKAPHEN have successfully completed four bundles for K+S Gruppe with a specialised version of the heat cured epoxy-phenolic SÄKAPHEN Si 570 AR, modified for flooding application of the tube internals with an internal diameter exceeding 30mm.

Common misconceptions would have you believe that the larger the tube ID equates to easier application, this is simply not the case. Due to the larger tube ID, natural ventilation will dry the flood applied coating before it forms a uniform lining film, additionally the smallest of flaws become visible to the naked eye.

Applying SÄKAPHEN Si 570 AR guarantees excellent corrosion and erosion protection for coolers exposed to salt saturated media, the enhanced heat conductivity is an additional benefit.
